The Holiday season officially kicks off in Pompton Lakes on Saturday, December 9th with its Annyal Holiday Stroll, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. 

The stroll begins with a parade at 4:30pm along Wanaque Avenue beginning at the corner of Colflax and finishing at the Pompton Lakes Library. 

Then, the treet lighting will take place at 5:30 with the arrival of Santa Claus. 

The event will have something for everyone - different groups set up along Wanaque, stores are open late, surprise characters for the kids, and plenty of freebies. 

The Holiday Stroll was been re-scheduled from Saturday, December 2, 2017 because the Pompton Lakes High School Football Team is playing for the State Championship on Saturday, December 2nd, 7:00 at Kean University. Go Cardinals!
