CLERK DANIELLE IRELAND-IMHOF ADVISES THE 

2021 PRIMARY ELECTION WILL BE CONDUCTED IN-PERSON

 

Paterson, NJ – Passaic County Clerk, Danielle Ireland-Imhof, advises the residents of Passaic County that during the Monday, March 22, 2021 Public Address New Jersey Governor Philip Murphy announced the 2021 Primary Election, being held on June 8, 2021, will be conducted in-person, at polling locations with the use of voting machines. 

 

Registered voters who cannot, or wish not to, go to the polls on Election Day may request a vote-by-mail (VBM) ballot be mailed to them, up until June 1, 2021. After June 1, 2021, voters may come, in-person, to the County Clerk’s Office to apply and receive their paper ballot. The schedule is as follows:

Please note the following:

  • All voters will have their temperature checked upon arrival. 
  • All voters are asked to wear a face covering and observe appropriate social distancing
  • Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:63-4, no person shall serve as an authorized messenger or as a bearer for more than three qualified voters in an election, except that an authorized messenger or bearer may serve as such for up to five qualified voters in an election if those voters are immediate family members residing in the same household as the messenger or bearer.
