Mayor Serra

Summer is in full swing and Pompton Lakes continues with summer activities for everyone to enjoy.

The Pompton Lakes Business Improvement District organizes Free Concerts sponsored by local businesses held at the Library Lawn. Pompton Lakes’ residents are fortunate in having the opportunity to enjoy a free concert just about every month throughout the summer. All are welcome, so reach out to your friends, family and neighbors; catch a bite to eat before the concert at one of the many eatery’s here in Pompton Lakes. The music begins at 7:00pm, bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the performances.

Pompton Lakes National Night Out, hosted by the Pompton Lakes Police Department, scheduled for Tuesday August 6th, will be held in the Pompton Lakes High School parking lot between the hours of 7:00pm-10:00pm. National Night out is a night that provides the opportunity for neighbors and friends to gather and meet with local law enforcement, while building safer communities. Please join us - all are welcome to enjoy great food, giveaways, music and demonstrations during this community gathering.

Pompton Lakes Recreation along with the Mayor and Council will hold the annual Senior Picnic on August 8th at 12:00 noon at the Elks Lodge. Seniors have the opportunity to come together and enjoy each other’s company while listening to live music, served a variety of delicious food, drinks and desserts.

Pompton Lakes 15th Annual Pompton Day held on Sunday, September 1st with a rain date of Monday, September 2nd. Family and friends can experience a fun filled day where everyone is welcome to enjoy and participate in recreational events, vendors, food trucks, music, games and performances.
