Welcome to the Borough of Pompton Lakes road improvement information webpage. This page has been created in an effort to keep residents informed of the road improvement projects that are ongoing throughout the Borough. We’re here to give you more information for less inconvenience. 

Posted to this site will be all schedules, updates and any emergency work. As well, updates on projects and any changes to the schedules will be posted as the work is ongoing.

Lincoln Avenue Phase II Improvements Project:

November 1, 2023 (updated November 7, 2023)

The Borough of Pompton Lakes' contractor, American Asphalt and Trucking, will begin ADA curb ramp upgrades along Lincoln Avenue from Mathes Avenue to Lakeside Avenue, on or about November 14, 2023. Every effort will be made for minimal disruptions to traffic as well as in and around school zones. This work is expected to last approximately three (3) weeks. 

Lincoln Avenue from Mathes Avenue to Lakeside Avenue will be milled and paved in the early Spring of 2024. More information will be forthcoming once a project schedule has been determined.
